This tasting table is made of a wine barrel dating back to 1979 and coming from France, which was used to store Tuscan Chianti Classico. Its basis is made of barrel elements using original barrel hoops. The table top is made of a barrel bottom.

This original design is a blend of a bit of a modernist, dynamic approach and a reference to tradition, for example through the use of old wood and a wine barrel. It can be also observed that it refers explicitly to the vintage style, whose name originates directly from the terminology of wine.

The vintage style has been in vogue for years. It sounds surprising, especially in the world of interior decoration, where novelty is usually the norm. Vintage is somewhat a counter-trend: always looking into the past. This table design takes only the very best from the past.

We are a company designing and manufacturing furniture of barrels and old wood. In particular, we appreciate our offer of furniture made of used wine barrels. This is the third life for wood. Our barrels are made of the noblest species of oak – the king of all trees. Oak refines the wine, gives it smoothness and class. We want to keep the oak’s role alive in our projects. Old Wood comes from old barns, wooden houses, Catholic and Orthodox churches located in Galicia, i.e. the region of south-eastern Poland and western Ukraine. Noble wood tells the history of people who inhabited this land – beautiful and severe, mysterious and inspiring. No tree was cut to make the object because the material comes completely from the recovery. The manufacture of an object is limited to the minimum use of electricity, substantially, it has been made by hand.
