An armchair made of a 10-year-old barrel with a capacity of 225 litres. The barrel was used to store wine from Eger, Hungary. The structure was made entirely of oak staves. The seat is constructed on the basis of two frames joined by seat and backrest staves. The frames are a combination of a front leg, an armrest, a seat frame, as well as a back leg and a backrest. The structure is specially reinforced, thus the armchair is very durable. The staves bear the shades of red wine. Thanks to appropriate treatment, the structure is dark red and brown.

This armchair is an ergonomic and stable piece of furniture resembling a throne. If you sit on it once, you will not want to get up at all. Vintage styling; design combining tradition and modernity. This armchair can be the pride of any wine cellar or tasting lounge.

We are a company designing and manufacturing furniture of barrels and old wood. In particular, we appreciate our offer of furniture made of used wine barrels. This is the third life for wood. Our barrels are made of the noblest species of oak – the king of all trees. Oak refines the wine, gives it smoothness and class. We want to keep the oak’s role alive in our projects. Old Wood comes from old barns, wooden houses, Catholic and Orthodox churches located in Galicia, i.e. the region of south-eastern Poland and western Ukraine. Noble wood tells the history of people who inhabited this land – beautiful and severe, mysterious and inspiring. No tree was cut to make the object because the material comes completely from the recovery. The manufacture of an object is limited to the minimum use of electricity, substantially, it has been made by hand.
