This rack can hold 48 bottles of wine stacked horizontally with their necks facing forward. Its front is made of staves of a barrel with a capacity of 225 litres, which was used to store Tuscan Sangiovese, whose traces remain visible on structural elements. Its bearing elements and shelves are made of old wood coming from a rafter of a mountain barn dating back to the first half of the 20th century.

Noble wood tells the history of people who inhabited this land – beautiful and severe, mysterious and inspiring. No tree was cut to make the object because the material comes completely from the recovery. The manufacture of an object is limited to the minimum use of electricity, substantially, it has been made by hand.
