Every part of this piece is an art form in itself, hand oiled to bring out the natural beauty of the wood's grain and texture.
One of Treniq’s proudest discoveries to date, designer-maker Kung Mana Tongmee, comes from a rural town in Southern Thailand, where his love for wood aided him on his path to one of England's finest furniture schools. Drawing inspiration from ancient Thailand, Buddhism, and the antique techniques of his ancestors, Kung Mana Tongmee creates perfectly distinctive pieces of furniture. The talented designer has exhibited his work at prestigious furniture events including ‘New Designers’ and ‘100% Design’. But, our young designer is most comfortable when he’s in his workshop, sculpting away: “Nowhere else I’d rather be!”
