Cairo spotlight the Cairo is a modernist graphic spotlight, handcrafted in luxurious materials. Referencing the deco and memphis movements, the Cairo spotlight's innovative design focuses on a playful use of the pyramid and circle motifs. The distinctive pyramid section is hand cast in brass, using the traditional lost wax technique. Handcrafted in England. Spotlight with 270 degree rotation, 90 degree tilt, fitted on brass rod. Designed to be ceiling mounted, singly and as a series of spotlights. Materials: brass, lacquered aluminium. Dimensions: ht.66cm x w.18cm x d.5.4cm (26"X7"X2") designer: Martin Huxford launched 2017 made in England.

Martin Huxford is a designer and manufacturer of contemporary large scale chandeliers, suspensions, wall lights and floor lights. With a childhood spent shaping pieces of metal in his father's workshop, this early love of metal and its potential has inspired Martin's industrial-artisan ethos of design. Steel, brass, nickel, gold and glass are the raw materials for lighting designs, which combine strong form with detailed decorative elements.
