The Ultimate Cashmere uses a 1400 pocket spring unit (in 5'0" model) upholstered with sumptuous layers of Cashmere, pure new wool, silk and cotton. The mattress and base are covered in a fire retardant Belgian Damask material and the hand-tufted mattress features three rows of hand side stitching, six turning handles and brass breather vents. The Sprung edge base guarantees softness and comfort in all areas of the bed. The springs in the base provide not only a softer sleeping surface, but also have a bit more 'give' in them when sitting on the edge of the bed.
