Circa 1950 & 1980. British bespoke-made cushion created using original vintage fabrics. The front side features a stylised poppy image designed by the Italian fashion house Stefanel. Reverse side features a floral pattern designed by forties designer House of Jacqmar of London. Silk combined with a rayon with complete interfacing and fabric full cotton lining. Velvet edged trim with an original vintage button on the zip pull. Dry clean cover only. Includes a sumptuous duck feather pad. Plump up cushion regularly to maintain its fullness. Provenance; Britain and Italy. Made by Nichollette Yardley-Moore, Vintage Cushions.
Over the many years, I have been a fashion and accessories designer, I have sourced a wealth of original fabrics ranging from mid-century textiles to sometimes very rare silk scarves.
