Rip Tide Painting

An original acrylic painting by Cornish Artist, Lindsey Keates. 1 of a series. Rip Tide is a specific type of water current that can occur close to the beaches and breaking waves.

Lindsey was caught in a rip current as a small child and she found it very scary indeed, it is easy to feel it and see it if you are a 'local' in Cornwall. She particularly enjoys looking down onto the sea on rough windy days, watching the drag back of the ocean creating powerful forward surges.

Lindsey has used lots of her signature messy flicking, brush and sponging in her techniques in this original painting. Measurements - 100 x 70cm.
