Natural beauty versus man made pollution. Many visitors flock to Cornwall for holidays at the Seaside, panoramic views of dunes, cliffs & white sands against the Atlantic ocean, while the locals enjoy the income, the traffic and litter increases by 100%, especially during holiday season.
Often when walking along at the end of the day, My children and I collect in litter left behind by visitors, my parents also taught me to do them same, it is important to me and for the future generations that a level of education is incorporated into my work, keeping it current with the Series of Blue Planet ii, despite working on art pieces over the past few years.
Micro Plastics, ghost rope, cotton buds, pieces of buckets and spades, lolly sticks, lighters, smarty lids and drinks caps bottle tops are often collected and I have incorporated these into my latest work, launched through my Kick Starter Fundraiser project, where I aim to raise funds to expand my business and educate via exhibition.
