Mima Side Table

A contemporary and elegant design, the mima side table offers good looks and practicality. A hexagonal base and top are connected by an array of slender spindles letting lots of light through and resulting in an equally interesting array of shadows. These splayed spindles are arranged around one half of the hexagon with some passing through the base as feet, and form the ideal place to keep your favourite magazines and coffee table books. Two larger spindles support the other half of the hexagon, leaving an open part of the shelf for larger objects or plants. All the spindles support the top and are secured with visible wedged tenons, very strong, and creating an interesting detail on the table top surface. Handmade from a choice of four British hardwoods as standard, shown here in Sycamore and oak, also available in elm and ash. Other wood choices can be made available on request, please contact us. Finished with hardwax oil.
