Classic Yet Contemporary

This Kitchen belongs to a family home in Kent. The client was kept in mind throughout the creation of this kitchen, and it is filled with small details tailored exactly to their needs.Designers at Rencraft made the AGA a focal point and thus the rest of the design worked around it. The island and the pendant lighting are aligned with the AGA and traditional cabinetry is installed around it. The design of the cabinets includes a central line which continues the whole way around the kitchen, creating a classical, yet contemporary look. The cabinetry is kept light and Frosty Carrina quartz has been used for the worktops.
Storage was a crucial requirement, so the breakfast bar includes a cupboard for storing worktop appliances & the sliding doors are close to the seating and breakfast bar for easy access. Other areas include the pantry and fridge freezer, which are placed close together for the easy organisation. In addition, the sink area has been zoned to include the dishwasher and bin. A wine store is inbuilt into the alcove by the wood burner and provides useful storage along with harmonising the space. A bronze mirror behind the walnut wine cabinet further adds a hint of glamour to the room. Additional storage is provided by the wine chiller in the island, which also frees up space in the fridge.

The result is a sleek, contemporary kitchen, which is hugely practical with a great deal of storage and carefully zoned areas.
