The scaffolding boards pictured in this example were simply brushed down so they retained a gritty raw look and then painted with a simple thinned out white oil to give a gorgeous beachy white washed finish. We can also produce this, or anything similar using new scaffolding board, railway sleepers, plywood, reclaimed floorboards.
