The Story

Inspired by a visit to Sedona in Arizona, Peter Layton has translated one of the most memorable experiences of his trip, a visit to Antelope Canyon, in glass. A slot canyon situated in Navajo country, the natural wonder can only be reached by special vehicles able to navigate the soft sands. Peter has attempted to recreate their essential visual qualities and extraordinary light in the intervening years. After a number of development phases, he has achieved a collection of work that expresses the essence of this experience.
